The government has made funds available through its Household Support Fund to support families, by offering additional help towards household costs.
In County Durham this support will be available as vouchers, which you can choose to spend at ASDA, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

If your child is eligible, i.e. if they receive benefit related free school meals, you will receive £70 per child to help you keep the children in your household fed

and warm over the coming weeks.

As you will appreciate distribution of these vouchers is a large job but please be assured you will receive your vouchers by 25^th March
