Durham County Council have informed us that a local by-election will take place in Newton Aycliffe on Thursday 4th May. Our nursery is required by the Council to be used as a Polling Station. As a result, Lower Site will be closed to all Lower Site pupils (nursery, Reception and KS1) for safeguarding purposes.Upper site will remain open and pupils in Y3, 4, 5 & 6 are expected to attend school as normal. Sorry for any inconvenience but this is at the direction of Durham County Council and is not a school decision. Thank you.
